Aug 24: Create a Basic Sim Lab with Realityworks Medical Manikins

Is a budget-friendly health science simulation lab on your wish list this year? This webinar is for you! Join Realityworks Product Manager and National Consortium for Health Science Education Executive Council Member DuBois to learn how Realityworks’ low- and medium-fidelity medical manikins can provide a great training alternative to costly high-fidelity options. As recent research shows, “the use of high-fidelity simulation [can lead] to equal or even worse performance and growth in knowledge as compared to low-fidelity simulation, while also inducing undesirable effects such as overconfidence.” In this free presentation, you’ll learn how to build a basic simulation lab while being mindful of budget and desired fidelity levels.

Join us to:
  • Review a variety of medical manikins available that can provide the foundation for a basic simulation lab
  • Get free resources you can use with medical manikins for scenario- based learning
  • Get tips for determining when it to select medical manikins vs. task trainers for technical skills training

Create a Basic Sim Lab with Realityworks Medical ManikinsWhen: Wednesday, Sept 22 @ 9:30 AM - 10:15m AM PST
Where: Online
Cost: Free
