HSCTE cannot directly endorse nor fund outside scholarships, but we strive to provide information for all Health Science students in the state of Washington.
HSCTE Health Science Scholarships
HSCTE is pleased to announce the availability of two $750 Scholarships to students who have been or are presently in a Healthcare / Health Science program and who are being nominated by a current HSCTE & WA-ACTE member.
The scholarships are to be used for tuition and other direct school expenses at an accredited two- or four-year college or university for the 2023-2024 school year only (shorter programs at two-year technical schools qualify as a two-year school).
Directions for completing the application are described within the application itself.

- No late applications will be accepted!
- Applications will be reviewed by the HSCTE Scholarship Selection Committee.
- Decisions of the Scholarship Selection Committee are final.

Washington State Opportunity Scholarship
The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship helps low- and middle-income Washington state residents earn degrees or certifications in the high-demand fields of science, technology, engineering, math and health care.
WSOS offers two scholarship programs for Washington state residents pursuing a credential towards a high-demand career in Washington state. Our Baccalaureate Scholarship is for Scholars pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM or health care field. The Baccalaureate Scholarship application opens each year in January. The Career and Technical Scholarship (CTS) is for Scholars pursuing a certificate, apprenticeship or associate degree in a high-demand trade, STEM or health care field such as welding, manufacturing or information technology. The CTS application opens three times a year in May, September and January. Our scholarship funds are flexible and can be used to cover tuition, fees and other costs of attendance such as housing, transportation, food and more.
